Within a year after the release of D.K Harrell's debut album, he performed in 10 countries such as Argentina,Brazil,France,Germany,Switzerland,Norway,The Netherlands,Italy, and Belgium. March of 2023, D.K. Harrell assisted in launching the first sanctioned blues society (Ouachita River Blues Society) representing Northeast Louisiana and was even voted President of the society. A year later,this led to Rick Godley , a local disc jockey, to hold the first ever blues festival in D.K's hometown Ruston,La on Oct.12. Mayor Ronny Walker proclaimed Oct 12, D.K. Harrell Day.

On Nov,18 2024 D.K. Harrell officially completed his second studio recording at the San Jose studio, Grease land with Kid Andersen, D'mar Martin, Andrew Moss,Vickie Randle and many others. The album release date is TBA 2025.
